US Earnings Season

The second week of October is when earnings season once more kicks off in earnest.

As ever, we start with reports from the big banks before moving onto mega caps from a variety of sectors and industries.

Although growth looks like it is slowing from Q2 2021’s bumper results, we could still be on for a high-performing quarter. US financial data group FactSet predicts S&P500 will enjoy earnings growth of 27.6% – the third highest year-on-year earnings growth rate reported by the index since 2010.

The calendar breaks down which companies are reporting and when.
